The Indian banking space is not only occupied by public sector banks & private banks,but is also shared by number of rural banks.These rural banks help people in villages to use banking services effectively.Prathama bank is one such rural bank,sponsored by Syndicate bank & present largely in Western Uttar Pradesh is recruiting for Officers & Clerks.

Post – Vacancy – Payscale :
1) Officers (Scale 1) – 65 posts – Rs.10000 – 18240
2) Office Assistant/Clerks – 17 posts- Rs.4410 – 13210

Important dates :
Last date for sending applications by post – 17.09.2009
Date of written exam for Officer position – 25.10.2009
Date of written exam for Clerk position – 01.11.2009

Eligibility :
* The candidate must be a citizen of India for both posts.
* Those applying for post of Officer Assistant/Clerks must be a resident of UP.
* Age limit – 18yrs to 26yrs
* Education for Officers – Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
* Education for Clerks – Degree in any discipline from a recognized university OR
Pass in H.S.C of 10+2+3 pattern with minimum 50% marks OR
Pass in Senior School Matriculation with minimum of 60% marks.

Selection : The selection for both positions will have Written test & Interview.Candidates with high marks in written test will be called for Interview in the ratio of 1:4 for final selection.The exam centers for both position would be in UP,India.

Application : Interested candidates are requested to pay the application fee of Rs.300(OBC/General) or Rs.50(SC/ST) by means of DD/Pay order issued by a scheduled bank payable at Moradabad (UP).Look at application form for payee details.
